Henk is a Dutch-born computer game designer and serialentrepreneur
known for producing Japan’s first major role-playing video game and
revolutionizing the video game industry by securing the rights to Tetris. He is
the Managing Director of The Tetris Company and chairman of Blue Planet
Software, the sole agent for the Tetris® brand.Henk dedicates much of his
time to his life’s mission of ending the use of carbon-based fuel and founded
Blue Planet Foundation for this purpose. Additionally, as the founder of
Hawaii’s first venture accelerator, Blue Startups, he is leading the growth of
Hawaii’s tech industry and its entrepreneurs.

He also founded Zone 2 Connect, one of the leading providers of serious games and gamification in Germany. At Target Games he is responsible for business and strategy development. Thorsten Unger is consulting the German government, institutions and companies as well. He is a key-note speaker for games-related topics and has published contributions in several books. Together with his long-time companion André Bernhardt he founded Target Games.

André Bernhardt is extensively experienced within the video games business as he has been a part of the German games industry for 16 years - online as well as offline and mobile. In the beginning of his career he was a producer for classical boxed console and PC-games business with the release of the Playstation 1 at Sony Computer Entertainment. Afterwards he was working for German publishers, e.g JoWood and Sunflowers, before joining RTL Games and focused on "next-gen" console publishing (PS3, X360, Wii, DS, etc.). In 2009 he joined Travian Games in Munich. Since 2012 he has been working as a freelance agent called IndieAdvisor, supporting developers to find a publisher and vice versa. He also teaches at different high schools and frequently lectures at games conferences. Together with his long-time companion Thorsten Unger he founded Target Games.

Danny is a Founding Partner at GTR Accelerator and at TAB the Momemtum, well known for accelerating and investing small and medium-sized firms. He also experienced various business developments for game and non-game business industries.

Richard Min is Managing Director and CEO of the Fashion Technology

Peter has more than 12 years of experience in start ups and marketing in Silicon Valley. He is currently the founder and CEO of AlcaCruz Inc., where his team is building a new eco system for children’s digital life. Prior to that he has co-founded 4 other companies and currently advises many local start ups in Silicon Valley and Seoul, such as Ipvive, Streamlyzer, StemGen and Manic Frog among others

His passion for game led him to co-found Fantage.com, a virtual world for children, where it competed with Disney’s Club Penguin. Since Fantage, his insight and networks has led to multiple investments and business development opportunities for game companies in Seoul, Shanghai and Silicon Valley.

He is also a founding member and past CEO of Bay Area K Group, the biggest Korean-American non profit organization in Silicon Valley.

Emily Souza is a market research professional, specializing in the analysis of data and trends in the video game industry. She currently supports some of the largest names in the industry as the West Coast Client Director for Newzoo's San Francisco office.

Farnsworth has more than 15 years experience in business strategy and venture investing. She is the managing director of Blue Startups, Hawai‘i’s only venture accelerator. Farnsworth also manages the Hawaii Angels investment network. She is the founder of Hi Impact – an impact investment and social entrepreneurship organization launched in 2010. In 2006, she co-founded Kolohala Ventures, a Hawai‘i-based venture capital firm that invested $50 million into Hawai‘i-based technology start-ups. Prior to that she provided strategy development and business planning consultation for start-up companies and high-growth businesses through her company Farnsworth Consulting. She has held positions in health policy and legislative affairs in Hawai‘i and Washington D.C. Farnsworth has served as chair of the Women’s Fund of Hawai‘i, director of the Hawaii Women’s Business Center and judge and coach for the University of Hawai‘i business plan competition. Farnsworth earned a BA in political science from the U.C. Santa Cruz and an executive MBA from the University of Hawai‘i.

Phil is a General Partner of Big Basin Capital. He founded Big Basin Capital in 2013 to invest in early-stage startups in Korea and the US. Previously, he was the Investment Director at Walden International, a global VC headquartered in Silicon Valley, where he led the firm’s investment in SundayToz (KOSDAQ IPO) and HiDeep. Prior to Walden, he was with Intel Capital in Santa Clara, CA. Earlier in his career, he was a software developer at an EDA startup Neolinear, and a technical sales lead at Cadence.
